The Team Coordinator’s role is very important in helping run a successful team.  Here are some suggestions:

• Communicate openly with your coaches.  Help them with as much administrative work as possible.  This will allow your coaches to focus their energy on the kids.
• Try to remain organized and mindful of your scheduling.  Record all money that is received and spent.
• Delegate whenever possible.  You will be surprised at how willing parents on your team are willing to volunteer or assist where needed.
• Your role is not to act as a “go between” for the parents and your coaches.  Any discontent that parents have should be directed at the coach, not the Team Coordinator.
